There are four core curriculum areas at the heart of the SCL2LP: Numeracy; Communication and Literacy; Personal Care; and Electives. The Communication and Literacy curriculum area consists of four modules designed for a minimum of 240 hours of teaching time/class contact time over two years, acting as a crucial prerequisite for independent living, personal wellbeing, and adult transition.
