AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO YOU AS A PARENT 
  • ​It has been very well known that the people around you and/or your child have a significant influence on your life and on your child's growth.
  • You and your child are a statistic of the five people you spend the most time with.
  • What kind of people do you have around you and your child?
  • Who surrounds you and your child and who do you have the most contact with?
  • Do those people around you have an intervention plan in place with measurable progress?
  • Does your child have goals with a tracking system in place to regularly test the progress? If he does, in which percentage has she/he achieved his goals in a current school year? 
  • Or maybe your child is at a school setting where the teachers and therapists say that the lack of progress is your child's fault because of the behaviours, or that not much progress is there because of his/her ''limited intellectual potential''?
  • Strive to surround yourself with people who believe in you and in your child! 
  • Start to be with people who believe in your child's potential which very likely hasn't been fully discovered yet.
  • Plan your child's goals with the people who inspire you, encourage you to take a positive action and who want your child to be the best version of themselves.
  • What is very important to remember is that your child is only as great as the current environment and the people around him.
  • For you and your child to be successful, you both need the environment in which both of you will grow. The environment for you to grow is the one that encourages you to act and cause positive lasting neuroplastic changes in your child's brain. The environment for your child to grow is the environment with very specific and sufficient brain stimulation (in 98% of cases, a child with special needs is not getting sufficient brain stimulation). It's paramount to get the right amount of the stimulation to develop the brain!
  • You need the regular connection, coaching and mentoring by a professional who is in your shoes and who understands the daily struggles of parenting a special needs child. You need a professional who will support you, believe in you and pull you up to maximally progress your child !  ​This way your child will, most likely, get to a place where you want him/her to be and to get faster. ♥️​​
